I like this approach, if possible it’s also a great idea to carve out a half hour or hour a day to work on something non work related that demands your undivided attention (a game, book, music, sport, hobby). It can be remarkably helpful to clear your mind of all your other issues for even just a little while.
I don't mean for this to be a loaded question, but isn't it obvious that launching rockets into space over and over again probably isn't good the environment on so many fronts?
Usually the animals and the rockets co exist quite well. Rocket launches are relatively rare and most of the time the wildlife is left in peace. Even when the rocket launches it's just a brief moment of noise, other than that it's a lot of open space free of humans. For example there is great wildlife around Kennedy space center.
The complaint that they close the access roads too often seems bizarre to me coming from an environmental group. It would seem to be better for the animals if access is closed more often, not less.
I'm not finished with it yet, but currently reading designing data-intensive applications and it's probably the most technical I've read. I also have to start digging into an algo book as I move into my final year of college.
