This sounds like RNNs may officially be dead

this is amazing, is the formula open source? I wonder if we can crowdfund mass manufacturing

A lot of people already did that and it's already cheap anywhere in the world. The thing is, to be able to sell it in the US you would have to be approved by the FDA and that's why Shkreli got away with it, there can't be any legal competition before at least a few years.

How is it amazing? Nobody ever said producing medicine is expensive, being able to sell it is.

This is at best a puff piece attempting to defame Shkreli instead of pointing the blame where it belongs.

Manufacturing pharmaceuticals is not cheap or easy. Even the US's National Institute for Health had to shut down producing drugs for clinical trials recently due to GMP violations.

We've spent the last several months building this service for MIT. Check us out at http://lean0n.me

We think all universities could use a peer support network like this, and we'd love to hear what you think :)

Great work. You might get more feedback if you post it as a Show HN instead, linking to your site, then add the background (including a link to the news article) as a first comment in the thread. Email hn@ycombinator.com if you need any guidance about how to do that. Good luck!

If you do repost it, email us a link at the same address, so we can make sure it doesn't get flagged.
