I'm actually using the remarkable for this kind of functionality. Some article i want to read later --> Share with remarkable, you do need the remarkable cloud service for that work seamless though.
Maybe one could use this to circumvent the paid cloud service.
I wrote a telegram bot (because share with remarkable does not work on mobile) to auto generated epub out of url and upload to remarkable cloud, until remarkable keep changing their cloud API and I finally cannot make uploading epub to their cloud work any more.
My Location History and Web & App tracking are off, and I'm still able to use my Home and Work addresses on Google Maps.
I see many people here have your same experience, which is pretty odd to me. I live in Israel, maybe there's a connection somehow?
Interesting, I'm on Android 9 and I can't set home/work without tracking, but it stays off anyway, it's too dark of a pattern for me to stomach. It was possible to set it several Android versions ago, but then I guess they got greedy
Author does a good job in separating authentication and enrollment.
Especially that not all authentication factor are equal and the mobile phones are getting it right is on point.
