This falls short because not being forced into chit-chat and music is very pleasant, but chatting with LLMs instead of collaborating with other people on a project is not. These aren't equivalents.

It genuinely is--and that's the honest truth.

And children will still have access to the internet and resources to teach themselves how to program.

Why would they need to do ID checks then?

Liability

It's hard to see how you wouldn't at least be okay with that outcome if you were actively making it happen. But maybe this is just explaining why I'll never have that much money.

Younger people may not use Facebook, but they use Instagram.

>I tried Virtual Machines, probably had half a dozen MacOS VMs over the years in VirtualBox and QEMU/KVM. Getting MacOS working in a VM is difficult, inconsistent and (at least on my machines) performance isn’t great. Apple strongly does not want you doing this, you’ll always be swimming upstream.

Idk. A year or two ago I wanted to test something on Mac. I searched a bit and found an image and probably copied a qemu config from somewhere, and it worked without any obvious problems. I'm sure there was a performance hit, but it wasn't unusable by any means, and I don't run the latest hardware.

I’m wondering if a cloud VM is would be the best for the author’s needs.

They clearly don’t want a Mac laptop or a laptop form factor at all for various reasons, maybe they’d be better off with a raspberry pi or even an android tablet plus keyboard and mouse remoting into a Mac VM in the cloud.

The cloud part would also mean that the cloud provider is going to handle all the difficulty in setting up a Mac VM for you.

Well, depends on what "something"

It depends. It may be that more testosterone when you already produce "enough" - which is individual-dependent - won't give much additional strength if you aren't training specifically to take advantage of it. Additionally, hormones are complicated. The body will downregulate its own production when given "too much". I'm aware that bodybuilders have to follow certain treatment regimens and add other drugs to restart the body's production if they stop supplementing it at times.

You will still gain size and strength without training, but obviously training produces much better results.

The internet for me (and increasingly non-internet programs) is unusable at this point without excessive modifications. It's hard to imagine what it's like being unbothered by it all.
