Meta could have something great, but I fear they will stand in their way. I have the oakley meta glasses, and the quality of the camera and sound is fantastic. But the software is horrible. It's a walled garden where only Meta-friends are allowed to play. So, Spotify yes, Tidal, Deezer or others, No. It supports Garmin, but not Corros, Suunto or Polar.

If they had the courage to open up their plattform for external developers like Apple or Android (not even talking about open APIs), they could have an amazing ecosystem. Currently, it feels like a car with a stuck handbrake.

BF2 and Battlefield: Vietnam were my top 2 BF games. Loved the radio in BF:V and the ability to airlift stuff. Also, I really enjoyed the commander mode in BF2, that was ahead of its time.

the second one are fantastic, i think i have 5+ distributed through the house and in several bags. 100 % agree, the garmin cable sucks, but at least they seem to be fine with 3rd parties offering different solutions.

i hope they get one to DC Rainmaker, he has imho one of the most comprehensive testing framework for smartwatches.
