Unfortunately, I have to say that this is true for non-profits too. I have a similar experience with my previous employer (non-profit) who decided to change the direction of the IT department. In the end, I am grateful for the opportunity of doing good as an employee in the organization in the time I was there but I no longer wanted to be a part of where they were headed. I still believe in their values and mission but the leadership needs to do what it thinks is best for the organization.

I'm guessing even if they do make a laptop like the Air it will probably come preloaded with a ton of crapware that nobody wants, utility programs that take over functions I would rather have Windows maintain, and lots of stickers telling consumers what features it has that will inevitably become obsolete.

Angry Birds is coming to Windows Phone 7: http://www.bgr.com/2011/04/14/angry-birds-for-windows-phone-...

Yes, it definitely is coming to Windows Phone 7.

I got on the deal for $100 on DNA day and found that most of the results I got back were interesting and cool to show my friends but it didn't change my life/habits in anyway. Most of the 23andMe's data is currently targeted for people of European descent and there isn't a whole lot of data on people of African and Asian descent in their database but even many of the European traits have varying confidence markers based on genetic data we have available today. I am hoping that much more data will be coming in the future but at the moment I wouldn't accept the results as gospel.

I wonder if the money that Batman spends to fight crime could be used more effectively in other ways. Batman is essentially a guy who uses his millions of dollars to fund his private war against criminals of Gotham city. If he used the same money and time to educate kids, invest in rehab programs or create community programs he might be able to get more done than what one man can do in the night. But it probably doesn't have the same kick you get out of beating up criminals.

In the comics, Batman does all the crime fighting and Bruce Wayne does all the charity work. So he tackles things from both sides of the coin.

Asking him to give up Batman would be like asking a city to give up their Police Force and just rely on schools to teach kids good morals.

Yeah that isn't nearly as entertaining a comic book :)
