I have been using eve - https://eve.dev/ recently and it was just really nice and well thought out. It also supports TUI, github and other non chat channels.
The integration and abstraction with sandboxes, cron etc. is very nicely done but you still can self host it.
I really like the idea of showing dormant areas of a project but also using git history to identify areas which are changed together. This could be useful for AI agents or understanding health of larger mono repos.
What is the most surprising thing you have seen in the data? Who would be buying/using this?
I think the related files could be useful for ai agents. I recently wrote a CLI that an agent can pass in files and get back additional ones. Don't have enough data to see if it has materially changed performance i.e. finding extra files that it would have missed
On the trends page, for some repos, you can see that the velocity hasn't materially went up, at least as a function of merged PRs (not that it is the only unit of value). But if you look at posthog, they seem to be crushing it and have a significant jump in merged PRs in the last few months
ramp i think just prebuilts the image/snapshot with the latest checkout version regularly [0]. do you think putting it into the image would address it?
Nice thing about the microvm is that you can snapshot it and restore it. Keeping the fs minimal is my goal. Snapshots restore much faster if they do not include 5GB of source code
I dont think its anti consumer, just anti competitive. Why would you allow a direct competitior to show your content on their branded devices and interface to help them become a one stop shop for all streaming services?

Yeah true, but also this is a bit like saying the lock screen of your phone should not become a "one stop shop" for all push notifications. I actually do not own an Apple TV but I just imaging you have a list of shows from different streaming providers on the "home screen" (like it is on my PS4). And on a technical level it is just an API you integrate with (same as push notifications), which helps UX.
IMO yes. It is less polished but IMO the model is way better. I moved over from claude completely and cancelled my max subscription. Less polished, slower but the results are better and you have to do less steering
For us it is docker desktop. Developers use mostly Mac and getting everyone to switch to something else takes time for testing, documentation, roll out etc.
You should talk to your account manager but for non ec2 services we have been successful with exchanges by explicitly asking for an exchange for a similar/larger amount.
