I hope you all are having a wonderful week. I have a quick question for any technical/financial background person who might have a crack on this nutshell idea. As we know credit card is a huge industry with little to no transparency and deep layers of traps that bankrupt millions of American and even the with financial background. I recently tried to lease a retail space which my credit score wasn't enough and with determination to improve I signed up with Experian. By the look of the website, they seem like a cash cow business. The dashboard is designed as a Nerdwallet blog with tons of referral links (Auto loans/ credit card signup), and they have a clever way of charging $24.99 per month just to lock your credit report. Though it looks like a good business to own and operate, however, their overall user experience is horrible. Deconstructing the website it seems like they are using Banks API to fetch your transaction data and they connect the big 3-Bureau FICO® Scores*. Is there any app or service out there that offers a similar service but with no too salesy website and something that actually works? A complete revolutionary personal finance dashboard with a feedback system. I am a UI/UX designer with a limited technical background. If this is something doable from a technical and legal standpoint I am interested in giving it a try. I appreciate your feedback and thoughts.
