The category of search I've stopped doing is the one where I'd append "reddit" to the end. The models are going to do a great job of distilling a wide range of opinion into something super digestible better than the old flow of looking for a bunch of threads on the subject from expert-amateurs and having to read them all myself.

For the people who say they've reduced their search engine use by some large percentage, do you never need to find a particular document on the web or look for reference material?

The quote isn't about "Poly" it's about non-monogamy. Having a one night stand with a stranger while simultaneously having a partner is not monogamy.

See, you can say that but if it's treated as a one time thing and actually stays a one time thing, then probably the two people in the couple aren't going to go around calling their relationship "non-monogamous"

Doesn't really matter what they call it - that's non-monogamy (edit: or cheating)

> 21% of Americans have experimented with consensual non-monogamy at some point in their lives

"Try a threeway once" fits the billed description of "experimented with consensual non-monogamy" pretty exactly.

Whether the people involved continue to define their relationship as non-monogamous is irrelevant.

I feel like everyone who has used a lot of AI tools has become accustomed to the LLM yap, but hearing it over TTS is much more annoying than when it's text you can skim through.

The yap factor is there, but they seem to be prompting this phone version to be more brief. I asked a few basic informational trivia questions and each response was 3 or four sentences. Less than the app or website version imo.

It's much, much better than TTS you might be familiar with. Give it a call.

I did and should have given credit above for the voice, it's very good. I meant to comment on the verbosity of what was being said, not the quality of the TTS itself.

the voices are even able to speed up their own delivery on command! it's great

> Dropping these absurd assignments and focusing on what really counts ...

These assignments are so much closer to a simulation of doing the actual job than the industry standard LC interview. The only thing closer is work trial which has the significant problem of requiring candidates to not currently have a job.

only if they can login as the owner of the key. Most of my team can get on our vps, only a couple could get our age key.

I suspect you're linking to this without having read it recently. This section now explains that there used to be problems on macOS and that they're now resolved + some optional extra information about what the installer is doing. And to be fair, the mac installation issue was quite bad for a few years.

Stealth - Consumer Fintech | Software Engineer | Onsite: Los Angeles/Remote: USA | Base: $80k - $140k, Meaningful Equity

We're a seed stage company working in creator fintech. Where other companies in this space have focused on extracting more money out of fans, our mission is to fund digital content creators without requiring their fans to pay a dollar out of pocket. We have raised over $2M in funding and are launching our first product this month.

We're looking for one or more backend/full-stack engineers to join our team of 3 mobile and 2 backend engineers.

Tech Stack: Haskell, Nix, AWS, Postgres, React Native, TypeScript, Expo

An inclination/interest in media/fintech/influencer economy is a strong bonus.

We are hoping to find a midlevel or senior Haskell engineer. That being said, we have so far had great success upskilling promising early career engineers and would be would be open to bringing on the right new-grad/dropout/other situation if there is alignment in other areas.

If you don't have professional Haskell experience here are some indications that you may still be a fit: - You have a strong interest in learning production Haskell and have used it for some personal projects - You are able to read and gain useful information from compiler errors - You can spin up a basic web service in Haskell backed by a database - You know the difference between transformers, mtl, and freer - You have experience writing highly functional style code in another language
