I want to check it out for homeowners insurance in CA, but I can't be sure you guys will never ever send my info onto someone else to send me annoying emails or phone calls? Besides my home is not the best deal to insure I think, I'm barely above sea level, it makes me worried to switch insurance. What if the new deal drops me in a year?
We only send your information to insurers we quote you with and do our absolute best not to spam (we send 2-3 reminders depending on policy type), our goal is to never call.

RE: cancellation/non-renewal, these do happen but it could happen to your existing deal too unfortunately. No one will force you to switch if it isn't a good deal and our agents do their best to always advise to the user's best interest. What does it mean to say a branch of science and engineering is too dangerous of a path to go down? Does it mean scientists are persecuted just for asking questions and designing experiments to find answers? Will there be witch hunts against ML researchers? Part of teaching is trusting your students to use the learnings wisely.
What is your basis for calling them "witch hunts" rather than "criminal prosecutions"? (The prosecutions would start only after the passage of a new law making the questions and experiments illegal.)

Criminal prosecutions are relatively rare because security-clearance background investigations filter out most of the job applicants who would go on to violate the laws.
There's a lot of very dangerous scientific work that gets done because we've put safety measures in place to protect workers and the public to the best of our ability. This allows the dangerous work to be done as safely as possible.

For anyone that missed it, I believe they’re referring to exfiltrating models by encoding the weights as bits as voltage fluctuations from the relevant data centers. I’m sure they’d take your money but I don’t think that’s what it’s referring to.
The answer is to think back to the kid you used to be, but now the kids are formed differently than before. The new kids have computers and YouTube, they already are participating in the misma of technology, they don't have the old memories of the before computer times to fall back into.
Fair point but for me the kid part was never really about being offline, it was more about having no audience. I'm saying we need to go back to how we felt when we did things just for ourselves, with no nody watching. And I feel kids today need adults to leave some room for it.
You only have 12 months after filing the provisional application to get the full patent application in. You might not need a cofounder, but you definitely need a plan with a timeline.
If it's a choice between being too slow, losing the market timing and the provisional patent protections or finding a co-founder, then find a cofounder. Is it more work to find the cofounder vs develop it yourself? You can try posting a linkedIn job ad for a cofounder, someone found me that way, and yes it was upfront about the salary situation but there are people out there who might be in the right circumstances to take you up on what you can bring to the table.
What about app Thimble? I used it to get a 2 day policy to take my LED globe and viewing portal to an earth day festival. It's not a robot but it's fancy electronics and the event required a policy.
