How is such a thin article upvoted? That was basically a verbose tweet.


Because some people find that it's a good topic to be discussed here. Or they want to +1 the idea. Or... Who knows.

I've upvoted bad articles because the discussion they triggered was very interesting.


It's funny - recently on HN I've seen posts that are a small twitter thread:

"Why isn't this a blog post?!"

Someone writes a short blog post, and...

"That was basically a verbose tweet."


Because really you're supposed to click the link in the article and listen to the interview.


If TFA contained a transcript it might have been worth an upvote...



Can we replace the original link with either this or the audio?
