If I'm ever in the position of owning a building containing a lift/elevator, I'm going to ensure that the bottom floor is labelled '0' rather than 'G'.

Unfortunately I didn't have the presence of mind to create my daughter a zeroth birthday cake until a few days after the event.

Until reading that link, I had no idea that North Americans numbered the ground floor as 1!
