HN is a bad platform for discussion of highly-charged political topics.

FWIW, this is known, which is why it's also discouraged.

Ok what do you think is a good online platform?

I've yet to see one that promotes an open minded, fact driven, discussion about politics. Compared to my readings of reddit, FB, new's comment section, HN has been by far the best imo.

Because obviously all men want to fight...?
