Wow, it seems the ball is really rolling on Linux compatibility. For reference, PUBG, Arma II/III, DayZ, Ark, Planetside, Rainbow Six Siege, Insurgency, Fortnite, Escape from Tarkov, and many others all use BattleEye. Without support, these games are either severely hampered, or completely unplayable on Linux.
Two out of the four top ten games on ProtonDB right now (PUBG and Rainbow Six Siege) use BattleEye, and don't work at all. The other two use EAC.
Fortnite actually uses both Battleye and EAC interestingly enough, both having announced Proton support this week. The Steam Deck is really helping push the envelope here, game companies treating it like another supported console.
