They should be able to self-distribute and sign binaries with self-signed certificate. Not that it’s ideal, but should not hinder the development process.


The primary contributor to this project for the last two years is this one individual who for obvious reasons isn't interested in putting further effort in to a platform that doesn't want their work.

The project isn't refusing to support Apple Silicon if someone else does the work, and it seems like there has been some work done based on later details in the issue.


Except that at -any- time apple could choose to to prevent that working as well.
