Does Sam Altman know what he’s creating?
Complaining about a CEO seeking regulatory capture seems like complaining about a lion eating a gazelle. It's the natural order of things in American corporations.
But like a lion eating a gazelle, it still turns my stomach to watch.

It's completely appropriate to complain about openai doing this because of its unique structure as a temporarily profit driven nonprofit
