In my third scifi book, slightly in the future, I predict how phones will change.

Foldable phone tech will continue to get better.

Wireless charging will reach room scale.

Now combine, you don't need much battery if all rooms of your space station wireless charge.

Your phone now can fold and be on your wrist like a watch, and unfold and detach as necessary.
