Yes, for C(++), Python, VHDL. Being able to run teat in a shell, work with Git (magit), have a file manager to move/delete/rename (dired), a calculator (calc), a calendar, and specially a todo list organizer, all in one app is a super thing for me. Throughout shortcuts consistent. A whole division of 20 people doing VHDL use it. Some have years of experience, I’m relatively new to it. I only use Emacs, Inkscape, and Outlook for mail in the work, all day 365 days.
