I was going to put together a personal checklist for a house and car, but I never got around to it. So thanks for saving me the time! I haven't looked at the app too closely yet, but is it possible to add my own custom criteria, too?

You are able to add custom questions yes. Currently it's a paid feature but happy to hear feedback!
