I can't say I have any sympathy when all they did was hammering Libgen and other community driven projects with requests, likely causing them financial losses, for profit.
You can't host a public website online without feeling the traffic from these scrapers. It's more hostile traffic on top of the Chinese and Russian cybercriminals we had before the AI boom.
