Lawyers are uniquely well-placed to resist AI job automation (boydkane.com)

Lawyers I work with, especially small shops, are extremely excited about AI potentially helping them focus on their clients and automating some of the non law related work they often have to do that keeps them from helping more people or reducing their rate.

very cool

Like a lot of professional talkers, you've gone off on a long-winded, narcissistic pontification, 90% of which I didn't read. But shortly before Claude Pro went mainstream, I was dealing with my parents' estate and the procedural opacity (obfuscation?) had me very close to pulling the trigger on hiring a lawyer. After I signed up for Claude Pro, knowing what and how to file various documents became far more tractable, almost enjoyable.

It says a lot that you didn't read 90% of a 2 minute essay
