We just posted a memorial for Louis Gerstner, the CEO that turned around IBM. I think reading about Louis Gerstner gives a pretty good example of why this would be a bad idea.
My business experience is that company culture is very important to a company’s success and I’m just doubtful that this can be created through AI.
That could be survival bias and smells of a multiple testing problem. Surely there would also be a few automated systems to that sometimes would be able to turn around a company.
LLM CEOs would be middle of the road, I suspect. Yes, they could be much more in touch with the goings on within the business and make fewer baseless decisions. Though you would not get an innovative or culture-building leader that is necessary in some circumstances.
