LG's Wallpaper OLED TV returns to CES, and it's wafer thin (theverge.com)

Its been a while since I've been excited about.. a TV.

Historically, the various rollables caught my eye. I could believe in it, as a concept where a large wallspace has art, and then you pull down the projector screen, but it's not for a projector, its active LED.

The "art mode" TV's with matte finish screen, wide viewing, and framed like a picture: I thought "gimmick" and then stayed in an AirBNB which had one had I totally did NOT clock it as a TV until the picture changed. It's remarkably effective.

Otherwise yes, I agree. the bigger thing, you kinda get a bit "I can't conceived of fitting this into my life" once they get to the entire size of a wall. And, as I age, the resolution in DPI terms I can handle seems to drop, not raise. I can't really handle 4k monitors well with my post-PVD, pre-cateract eyeballs.
